Will my occellaris clownfish host my long tentacle anemone?
ocellaris clownfish normally dont host LTA(long tentacle anemones) instead are commonly known to host carpet anemones, ritteri anemones and sometimes bubble tip anemones. this doesnt mean that its impossible for a ocellaris clownfish to host an LTA, as i have seem them host many types of anemones including LTA. this also depends on if your clownfish is tank-bred; most ocellaris clowns that are sold in the aquarium trade are usually tank-bred(this will vary), this is because they are much more healthier and easier to keep rather than their wild counter parts. if you want your anemone hosting your clown, i would suggest buying a sebae clown, maroon, and skunk clowns. dont go buying another clown if your dont have 75+ aquarium since mixing other species of clowns isnt recommended. anyways, it depends on the clown, sometimes the clownfish wont even host any anemone; for example in the store you see a clown hosting an anemone in the fish stores tank and you bring both back home, the clown might not even host the anemone anymore...this happens a lot.
