Is the tentacle thing popular with LGBT people?

Haha, I've had my fair share of alien fantasies (wrote a short story about a gay interspecies alien/human relationship, in fact) but never have tentacles been involved. Not really a turn-on for me. I have a fascination with tentacles, but I've heard way too many stories about those adventurous Chinese being choked to death from the inside while eating live squids to find them attractive at all
