What is this show/movie?

It was a cartoon and it had these people with tentacle like things one their heads that were red, purple and black and the people looked a bit like lizard things. I only saw the the end of it when a guy had to steal these animal things back from the bad guys. I really want to find out what it is called. Does anyone know?
