Could hamsters die from changing their bedding?

pine and ceder bedding can cause fatal problems in lungs. However, one could have gave the other a disease, or it could have actually been so sad that it died. I'm so sorry for ur loss, my first hamster just died four days ago, I know how u feel. They are with Jesus now.
